A lot of people don’t know what Iconosquare is, or what it can do for them. That’s because the app isn’t marketed as well as it could be, and many business owners don’t realise they need social media management software until they already have too much content to manage and not enough time to do it in. After reading this Iconosquare review, you should have an idea of whether the app can help you with your business needs!

Why does a business need Iconosquare

Businesses need Iconosquare to fully manage their social media marketing. The software helps with things like scheduling posts, measuring performance, reporting on data and much more. The tool ensures that business owners can quickly view all of their social media accounts from one place, so they don’t have to log into each account individually. It also enables businesses to take a more comprehensive approach to social media management. With Iconosquare, you can use hashtags across multiple networks — not just Instagram — so your efforts are more well-rounded. And you can see an overview of how your brand’s content compares with competitors’ in a simple bar graph format.

Who Should Use Iconosquare

Iconosquare helps you manage all of your social media marketing channels, including Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Google+, YouTube and Flickr. Because it manages so many channels in one place, Iconosquare is a great option for freelancers who manage multiple clients’ social media accounts or people who work for large companies where different departments have their own team managing various channels. It also offers plenty of great features to help with image optimization and link shortening. For example, if you upload an image from Instagram onto Twitter or Facebook from Iconosquare’s interface, it’ll know what size that image should be on each platform so you don’t have to worry about making those adjustments yourself. This social media management tool has something for everyone — whether you’re running your own business or just want a little more control over how you use social media personally. If there are social networks that aren’t included in Iconosquare’s offerings, there are always other tools out there like Hootsuite (Twitter only) and Buffer (Twitter only) that can help fill in some of those gaps.

Iconosquare’s Main Features

Aside from real-time posting, Iconosquare has a few interesting main features that make it worthwhile for social media marketers to have on their side. For one, you can check out data in various ways. Aside from being able to just scroll down your feed, you can choose to see how many mentions you’ve gotten on each platform. The app also allows users to look at statistics based on hashtags, location (which comes with handy maps), or even by entering keywords into a search bar. If you know what terms your target market might be using about your product or service, this makes for great research material. You can then share these stats around so people will hopefully use those keywords when talking about you in their own content! As a social media manager, I find myself constantly looking up my posts to see which ones got more engagement than others and why. It’s not enough to just post; you need to understand what’s working best so you can continue making things better. While there are plenty of apps out there that help track your posts’ engagement over time, they don’t all come as comprehensive as Iconosquare does. One thing I love about it is its ease of use. Anyone who’s ever tried managing multiple social accounts knows how tedious checking up on everything daily can get — especially if you’re already working long hours on other aspects of running your business.

Iconosquare Pricing Structure

Iconosquare offers three pricing tiers for its social media marketing software. The basic version, called Starter, costs $29 per month; Solo retails for $59 per month; and Pro costs $119 a month. The higher priced plans offer additional features like custom dashboards, premium data insights and deeper image analytics, but all three have pretty much all of Iconosquare’s bells and whistles. The company also offers an enterprise plan that can be customized to fit your specific needs, but pricing varies depending on what you need. Iconosquare has a free trial period, so if you want to test out their features before committing to a paid subscription plan, then go ahead and sign up for one of their free trials. You won’t get access to any reports or images unless you upgrade to one of their paid plans after 30 days though.

Comparison to Similar Products/Services

Socialoomph, SocialPilot, Crowdfire, Buffer, Hootsuite are all great Twitter management apps with pricing structures that range from free to $99/month. In their case they claim to do everything you could possibly want (and then some) but we feel that Iconosquare takes a completely different approach than most of these other options. Their service isn’t so much about being able to do everything as it is about being able to help you be better at what you already do. Their software helps you post more often and makes your posts look as amazing as possible while saving your time. It has been compared to many others such as TweetDeck, TwitPic and even Wordpress for its simplicity in creating eye-catching images without having to know any code or HTML. The majority of users find it easy to use and say that it can cut down on posting times by up to 50%. That alone will save you hours each month. They also include basic analytics for each post, giving you insight into how well something is performing.

Conclusion

Iconosquare might be a great solution for some social media marketers, but you should think carefully about your individual needs. If you’re looking for something more robust, it might not be right for you. However, if you’re just getting started with your business and want to learn more about analytics for Facebook pages without breaking the bank, Iconosquare may very well be a good option.
